I currently pay BT £60+ per monthand whilst Ive become attached to my address (having been with them for 20 odd years) SKY are waiting in the wings with an email address that I can access on ANY device, and all the sport I need. instead of utilising the server title to client/hosts, BT are wrongly advising that my mail server is “” … and no one at BT can work out how to fix it, so Im OFF. Like you I have established that my problem stems from the server, or server I.D. SO Im here to tell you I can stand no more wasted hours. (which I have done about 15 times in the past 3 months) and then laboriously walk me through the usual check list demonstrating NO technical knowhow on the subject. I have now spent in excess of 12 hours on various BT chatlines trying to sort this… I have spoken to what can best be described as idiots-on-script, who all start their patter with CHANGE THE PASSWORD.
